HOW-TO:Install XBMC on OUYA
|OUYA||HOW-TO:Install XBMC on OUYA|
OUYA uses XBMC for Android. The future XBMC version, v13 "Gotham", should be fully compatible with the OUYA.
- XBMC for Android - For brave test users, we currently recommend a nightly Android build (pre-v13 "Gotham"). It is an unstable development version, but contains the latest fixes and improvements. AC3 and DTS audio processing is supported.
- XBMC on OUYA - An unofficial version of XBMC based on v12.2, but with hardware video decoding, available from the OUYA Store. This version has AC3 and DTS audio processing disabled due to licensing issues.
- SPMC - Because XBMC on OUYA (Store version) has AC3 and DTS audio disabled, you can download SPMC, which is the OUYA store version (v12.2) + AC3/DTS: http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?8220-SPMC-Koying
