==General==
{{warning|This page is no longer maintained. It mainly served as a quick "cheat sheet" of common issues that are asked about, but it was never a full list of known issues. Please see the '''bug tracker''' for a full list of formal bug reports.
*The current AFP client in XBMC is still the not-so-stable one from Eden. A replacement won't be ready for Frodo, but is planned.

==Android==

*(Obviously) hardware playback for most devices

==Linux general==

==Mac OS X/iOS==
*gapless playback for music isn't working
*no AAC to AC3 transcoding, which means no multichannel support for AAC
*no HD audio passthrough support (currently seen as cannot fix due to Apple APIs)
*all sort of hickups during music track transitions (gets worse with activated crossfade)
*music output lacks audiophile support (output is resampled to the setting from audio midi setup for all tracks)

===Mac specific===

===iOS specific===
*No 1080p video output for retina devices (resolution gets scaled down because of performance issues - solution is in sight for after frodo)

==Raspberry Pi==
*DVD ISO playback is not expected to work well

==Windows==
*AirPlay videos rotation is off if using hardware decoding http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=149006
