4 User Custom Icons

To change the default watched or new banners with something of your own choice, you need to create a directory in the skins media folder and name it "Banner". Inside this new folder place your new images in .png format, they should be named according to XBMC language strings 16101 and 16102 e.g. English = Unwatched and Watched.

To insert a different set of movie genre icons, create a directory named "MovieGenre" inside the skins media folder. Place all the genre icons in the new folder in .png format. You also need to set the toggle switch under General Settings in the Skin Settings window to "Use External Genre Icons" With the exception of the "Genre Poster" all the views will look for an icon named exactly as the genre catagory e.g. Sci-Fi.png for Sci-Fi and Science Fction.png for Scienc Fiction.

The Genre Poster view is different in that it will fallback to the default icon if a external one is not found. This view will also look for the icon in a different way and takes into account the language when getting the icon e.g. For genre catagory "Adventure" it will look for "Adventure.png" or "Abenteuer.png" if skin language is German, if nothing is found the default internal "Adventure.png" will be used. At the same time this view only searches the left of the name, therefore "Action.png" will be shown for "Action Adventure", "Action Thriller" etc. This view is also limited to showing the following images - Action, Adventure, Animation, Biography, Children, Comedy, Crime, Disaster, Documentary, Drama, Family, Fantasy, History, Holiday, Horror, Indie, Musical, Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi, Short, Sport, Suspense, Thriller, War, Western
